How It Works
Microneedling is a cosmetic procedure that involves using a device with fine needles to create tiny, controlled injuries on the skin's surface. These little wounds encourage the skin's healing mechanisms, which may have several positive effects. More youthful and bright complexion results from collagen formation, improved skin texture, fewer fine lines and wrinkles, and improvement of acne scarring or stretchmarks. Additionally, it can assist with skin problems, including uneven pigmentation, enlarged pores, and acne scars. Microneedling is a popular option for non-surgical skin rejuvenation since it is minimally invasive and causes little downtime.
Does it hurt?
Microneedling is a procedure with little to no discomfort. Topical anesthetic is used to numb the skin for about 30 minutes before we begin.
How many treatments will I need?
3-6 Treatments are recommended every 4-6 weeks. Results can be visible after 4 weeks with final results 90 days after your last treatment. The goal and benefit of microneedling is collagen production and skin remodeling. Collagen production continues for up to one year after the final treatment. We recommend a touch up session of one treatment every 6-12 months for maintenance.
