What is Microblading?
Microblading is a semi-permanent tattooing technique that creates hair like strokes to fill in sparse or thinning brows. Microblading can dramatically correct or fully reconstruct lost brows. The first step is a consultation where I will strategically map and design your desired shape using your bone structure as my guide. This process will give the most natural outcome. Once you are happy with the shape a topical numbing cream will be applied to assure your comfort. Finally, the microblading process begins where I use a special microblading pen to draw individual hair strokes one by one and a small amount of pigment is placed just below the skin. This is an extremely meticulous process that takes around 3 hours. Microblading typically last 1-2 years depending on skin type, skin care and your immune system. Not everyone is a candidate for Microblading. This process takes 3 hours for the initial appointment with a two-hour touch up appointment that can be done 6-8 weeks later or within the first six months. Please see the Contraindications list to see if you would be an ideal candidate. If you have had previous microblading or permanent makeup done please contact me prior to your appointment to discuss your options.
What is Microblading and Shading Combo?
Microblading and Shading utilizes the same process as above but includes additional pigmentation in specific areas to give more depth and dimension. This gives the brow the look of more hair with light makeup. This look is very natural and popular with all ages, however, is best suited on non-oily, younger skin free of sun damage. This process takes 3 hours for the initial appointment with a two-hour touch up appointment that can be done 6-8 weeks later or within the first six months.
What Cashmere Nano or Ombre Brows (Machine Hair Strokes)
Nano brows (also known as Nano hybrid, or Nano strokes) is a semi-permanent cosmetic tattoo technique that applies hairstrokes using a machine to enhance the brows in any way desired. By using an ultra-fine single needle, the Nano Brow technique creates the most realistic and custom brow for people who cannot retain hairstrokes from a traditional microblading procedure, mature skin, oily skin or sun damaged skin. Nano is a very versatile method of cosmetic tattooing. The Nano technique is much gentler to the skin and can last longer than traditional microblading. Nano technique allows even those with oily skin to achieve brows with crisp hair strokes. Your brow style can range from all hair strokes to a combination of hair strokes with shading in sparse areas, to a bold “makeup” brow (often referred to as ombre or powder brows).
What is Lip Blushing aka "Permanent Lipstick"
A semi-permanent makeup technique used to enhance the color and shape of the lips. Lip Blushing does not change the anatomy of the lips but will give the illusion of a more symmetrical and full lip by balancing out the color within your natural lip shape. The purpose of Lip Blushing is to boost color, enhance shape, add definition to create the illusion of fullness. We have many colors to choose from and can also mix to create a custom color for you. Local anesthetic is used for this procedure so you will not have any discomfort at all. Lip Blushing can last up to 3-5 years with average being 2-3. This fee includes one touch up done within the first six months at no charge. If you have ever experienced cold sores or fever blisters consult with our PMU artist 10 days prior to your appointment so that a premedication can be prescribed.
What are Aquarelle Lips?
Aquarelle lips is a popular lip blush technique in permanent makeup. It involves blending the color of your choice into the lips, creating a soft airbrushed effect similar to a lip tint. Unlike other techniques, aquarelle lips don’t define the edges of the lips as much. Instead, the lips give the illusion of not wearing makeup, the lips appear naturally colored. The process is the same as the Lip Blushing listed above. This technique is suitable for anyone looking to enhance their appearance but prefer a very natural look. Aquarelle lips last up to 3 years and softly fade over time. A touch up is necessary 6-8 weeks after initial appointment and is included in the cost up to 6 months after the first appointment. If you have ever experienced cold sores or fever blisters consult with our PMU artist 10 days prior to your appointment so that a premedication can be prescribed.
What is Scar Camouflage
Scar Camouflage (Micropigmentation) is a semi-permanent makeup technique that involves injecting pigment through a microneedle into the area of the skin that is scarred or discolored. This is a non-invasive treatment with very minimal downtime. The pigments are custom blended to match your skin tone. This is great for surgical scars, stretch marks, some birthmarks and burns. Cost varies by the treatment area size and starts at $200.00.
Saline Lightening or Removal
Saline Lightening or Removal is a minimally invasive procedure that will lighten or remove unwanted semi-permanent pigments. The process involves implanting sterile saline solution with the PMU machine just below the skins surface. This breaks up the pigments through the process of osmosis. Several sessions may be needed depending on the type, amount and duration of the previous pigments. A consultation with our PMU artist is needed before you schedule this procedure.
What is a Lash Line Enhancement or Permanent Eyeliner?
Lash Line Enhancement is a permanent makeup process that creates the illusion of thicker, darker, and completely full lashes by filling in between the lashes with permanent color. This procedure is completed using topical anesthetic and has very minimal down time after. Do not wear contact lenses to your appointment. This process is great for all ages and skin types. There will be very minimal swelling that can typically occur for 3-5 days. This procedure takes about 2-3 hours and includes one touch up appointment within 6 months. Semi-permanent eyeliner can last 2-5 years. Adding additional thickness increases the eyeliner design, price and appointment time. See booking options for price list.
What is Stardust Eyeliner?
Stardust Permanent Makeup is a very advanced technique that is best known for creating a very soft powdery look or the look of a smoky winged liner. Stardust eyeliner creates this look of a smoky eyeshadow by using multiple layers of coloring to create permanent makeup that looks like a makeup artist did your makeup. Designs are pre-drawn so that you can visualize what the design will look like prior to the tattooing. The designs are specific to each individual by taking into consideration your features. Remember this is a team effort and the final style will be up to you. The cost includes one touch up appointment 6-8 weeks after the initial appointment but no longer than 6 months after the first application.
Scalp Micropigmentation
Scalp micropigmentation, also known as a hair tattoo, can cover bald spots or thinning hair without surgery. The process uses a thin tattoo needle to deposit tiny dots of pigment (color) on the scalp. This treatment can cover bald spots or create a shaved head look.
